The iconic derelict building on the corners of Malvern & Tooronga rd Glen Iris Melbourne was in much need of love. The owner purchased the property whilst it was still a mechanic garage in part with the vision to restore and rebuild the building over 2 stages.
The first stage was to restore the Malvern rd section creating 3 new tenancies on the ground floor and a large space on the first floor with a later stage to covert the warehouse into a retail offering. This first stage we restored the façade, installed new windows throughout, all new services, demolished and re constructed the rear section of the building & created a open space on the first floor by building new timber trussed on site.
